Originality in banality

When you think of a chopping board, you think of a rectangular piece of wood. With the CHOP-CHOP wooden cutting boards, we wanted to play the originality card by offering you irregularly shaped oak cutting boards. The icing on the cake? The leather handle to hang it on. A raw and authentic look for your kitchen.

Sturdy as an oak

We chose solid oak, which is well known for its longevity and robustness. The handle is made of genuine leather, which is also well known for this sturdiness. A fantastic duo that will last for years.

Giant sizes

Cutting boards are often too small. Ours are available in 35x24x2cm or 40x22x2.5cm, two big sizes to chop and cut efficiently.

A unique gift

A great gift for anyone who loves to cook. Engrave a first name, a nickname or an original phrase. It's up to you!

The engraving is done in our workshop near Lille.

Chop-chop, let’s clean it!

To clean it, a damp sponge is enough. Do not leave it to soak, as this could damage it. Do not use any detergent. Wipe it dry to prolong its life and prevent cracks from forming.

Do not use it for baking. Keep away from sources of excessive heat.

To maximise its life, you can regularly coat it with olive or sunflower oil for a few minutes.

FSC Certification 

We chose FSC certified wood. This certification assures you that the product is made with wood from sustainably managed forests. This includes ecological forest management and respect for the rights of workers and indigenous peoples living there.

Pagaminta Lietuvoje (it means made in Lithuania!)

We decided to manufacture in Lithuania. It’s a European country where the know-how of wood is recognized. The used wood comes directly from Lithuanian forests which cover 28% of the country. The raw material and the production are located in the same place to limit the transport and the carbon emissions.

It is a responsible production that ensures FSC certified wood. 50% of the waste from production is transformed.

Reuse / Recycle

Our products are shipped in a reusable recycled PET pouch along with a FSC certified kraft packaging.

Redistribute

We donate 1% of our turnover to the organisation 1% for the Planet. Thanks to this, we can give 1% of our turnover to the association Wings of the Ocean.
