The boards are made in pine wood, a tree with a great resistance to temperature changes. You can put a hot dish on it!
To make them even more robust, they have been burnt with the Yakisugi technique. This ancestral Japanese technique makes the wood resistant to water and fire in addition to giving it a raw and authentic style.

When you buy your brand new aperitif board, you can’t wait to try it. But when you unpack it, you realize that it’s smaller than you thought.
To be sure that everyone finds what he is looking for, it’s available in two sizes : 20x38x2 cm or 11x82x2 cm. Aperitifs will have a completely different flavour.
To keep your boards for years, the dishwasher is a no-go. They are water resistant but won’t appreciate Niagara Falls in your machine.
You can clean them with a damp sponge and wipe off the excess water afterwards.
To keep them safe, coat it with a bit of sunflower oil or olive oil and the case is settled!
We chose FSC certified wood. This certification assures you that the product is made with wood from sustainably managed forests. This includes ecological forest management and respect for the rights of workers and indigenous peoples living there.
We decided to manufacture in Lithuania. It’s a European country where the know-how of wood is recognized. The used wood comes directly from Lithuanian forests which cover 28% of the country. The raw material and the production are located in the same place to limit the transport and the carbon emissions.
It is a responsible production that ensures FSC certified wood. 50% of the waste from production is transformed.
