This material is known to be extremely soft and comfortable to wear. So, we've decided to stop stressing out from now on!
Flexion, extension
For a top-quality beanie that doesn't lose its shape at the first opportunity, we chose a 2X2 ribbed knit. The benefit of this stitch is that it makes the beanie flexible and allows it to easily regain its initial shape. With our beanie, you're guaranteed to have a close-fit that keeps its shape!

We don't all have the same head shape (obviously, you might say). And often, finding the perfect hat that fits YOUR head is a real challenge. Our solution:the ESSENTIAL. Why? It's the perfect compromise. It's neither too big nor too small, and you can easily adjust it to fit any head. Moreover, it's one size fits all, suitable for both women and men. It comes down to the ears, just right to keep you well covered. FYI: If you feel your beanie is a bit tight at first, don't worry. The fibres relax as you wear it, adapting to the shape of your head.
It has been thoroughly examined
This beanie is made with combed yarn, meaning it has been cleaned of dirt and impurities during its processing. This results in a stronger yarn because short, brittle fibres have been removed. Therefore, it's less likely to fray and, most importantly, it's very soft. In short, you won't part with this beanie anytime soon.
Naturally handsome
The ESSENTIAL is what we call a fold-over hat, meaning you can fold it over itself. It provides double protection for your ears and forehead. These hats are often worn by sailors in the US. They are classic and can be worn on any occasion. We've added a small emblem on the side, the Alaskan MAKER signature. The colours are basic and timeless. You can choose from Ivory, Navy Blue, Khaki, and Black. It follows the same style as our ESSENTIAL knit sweater, simple clothing that goes with everything.
One time, not two
This beanie is assembled using the "fully-fashioned" technique. What does that mean? Simply that it was knitted in one piece and only required a single seam to achieve the beanie you see here.
There's no material waste with our ESSENTIAL. It's eco-friendly!
A little beauty
To pamper it from time to time, a machine wash at 30°C is sufficient. We advise against 40°C programs, as they could damage it. You can mix it with the rest of your laundry, no need for a delicate wash program. Then, simply let it air dry. Avoid the tumble dryer; it may not appreciate it.
