Topographic Collection

We made the liquid levitate.

The effect is instant. Before any explanation.

The double wall creates an air pocket between the liquid and the outer wall. The effect is immediate: the liquid appears to float inside the glass. No visible contact with the material.

This is not a visual trick applied after the fact. It's a direct result of how the glass is built.

Double-wall glass Mont Blanc, levitation effect

We didn't show the mountain head-on.

A single face. One specific slope.

On the TOPOGRAPHIC pieces you already know, the relief shows the entire mountain: a centred summit, a symmetrical read. Here, we chose a single face. The specific slope of one side, characteristic of each summit.

It's not the same reading. The relief runs from edge to edge, with no obvious central point. The eye searches, catches, comes back. This is an object you look at more than once.

Function

The double wall doesn't just create the effect. It serves the experience.

Hot, cold, all year round.

The air gap between the two walls insulates your hand from the temperature of the drink. Tea stays hot. Beer stays cold. The outer wall stays at room temperature, so you hold the glass without burning or freezing your fingers.

For your morning cup, your evening drink, your night-time tea. All year round.

Each glass features a different summit.

Each person gets their own.

For each glass, we chose the face most characteristic of the mountain: the most recognisable, the most accurate, sometimes the most iconic. Not a generic mountain. A specific summit, with its name and altitude engraved on the glass.

It's not just a glass to give. It's a mountain chosen for them.

The gift starts before the box is even opened.

A 360° travel journal.

The gift box is a kraft box that reads as a full 360°. A single thread (the summit's silhouette) runs all the way around. You follow it. You turn it. You discover : illustrations unique to each mountain, its wildlife, its flora, trail details, GPS coordinates for the ascent.

We could have made a box. We made a travel journal. Ready to give, nothing to add.

Made by Makers, for Makers

Every glass is made from mouth-blown borosilicate.

Both walls are assembled by hand, under heat, to form the insulating air pocket. Hand wash recommended.

To ensure each summit accurately represents the real mountain, we start by modelling it. We invested in a 3D printer to validate the relief before creating the moulds, because below a certain level of detail, it no longer looks like anything.

Only once the result is validated do the moulds go into production.
